Any of you ever look back…and think about all the silly things that you did in school? I bet you do. They never seem stupid when you were doing them back then right?
Kind of like..how some people used to skip classes and go to the kedai mamak for some chow, or like how the boys used to climb over the school fence and hide behind the bushes to puff their cancer sticks, or how crazy some of the puppy-love politics can get between the adrenalin pumped girls..goodness…the name calling, cat scratching, hair pulling, glass punching.. i’ve seen them all… sigh..the joys of school life..hahahahaha
Things like that are all part and parcel of being in school i guess. You’ll always have people doing all these things to “spice” up their life. Some of the craziness are fun and even better when you don’t get caught. These are done by the people who have brains. Then there are those who are just plain stupid. They do things to get the fame or personal thrill for 5 seconds, and then shame and embarassment for the rest of their lives.
For example, I heard of several 17 year olds’ MAJOR stupidity which happened quite recently. These three boys, whom obviously have not matured yet, stole a miniature light sabre from one of the toy stores in One Utama. This is not your average plastic light sabre poking device. I am assuming it is one of those collector’s edition series or the high range toys which could fetch up to a half a thousand ringgit. Why? Apparently they did it for fun. Stealing for fun? They need a definitely attitude tune up. Anyway, they successfully managed to sneak out with it, and so YAAYY!! WHOOPEE!! Triumph was pumping in their veins. And that’s where their “skills” stop. These 3 idiots WENT BACK to One Utama, the NEXT DAY, and played foosball at the shop RIGHT NEXT TO the shop where they stole the light sabre. For the thrill? I dont think so. More like Dodo brains. So because the shop owner made a police report, the police came, and since their faces were most likely very clear in the cctv, they were caught there and then, and taken by the police across the whole One Utama to the exit. Imagine the amount of shame the parents feel. From today onwards, they will be known as the thieves for the rest of their lives. Sheesh.
They were let off though, as they were all not yet 18. The cops should’ve just chucked them in jail for a night, to teach them a lesson. First it starts of for fun, then later on it’ll become a hard habit to break.
Either way, I still think that it’s plain stupid for the light saber trio to do what they did. And then return to the crime scene the very next day.
