W couple of weeks back, the husband joined the Energizer Night Race held in Putrajaya. It was a night run (duh), done during Earth Hour, where all lights were switched off. So how did they know which way to go, you ask?
They all were given head lamps!! 😀 Isn’t that cool??
I had my doubts when the husband told me that he was going to join the race with his friends. I mean, first of all, it’s a 10km race!! TEN KILOMETERS!! No joke man… and then it was the night when we just got back from Segamat (I had to go there for work and the hubby and baby tagged along), and he never even trained for the race!!
Well, all doubts aside, the husband went on with the race anyway. He wasn’t in it to win but more to join in the fun and complete it within the certified time.
He managed too, of course 😀 well within the time limit. So he came home all happy with his goody bag and medal and certificate of participation!
Congratulations on your first 10km race, love!!
by the way Alisha, for the record, daddy did it in 68 minutes without training. Beat that!! ;P
