Hello Puan-puaaan! Kita kembali lagi ke rancangan Baby Nyummies!!!
Hehehe, this time I’m going to share with you Alisha’s all-new favourite porridge! Seriously THIS is her current favourite. She can finish a whole bowl full of this porridge, no complaints whatsoever.
Recipe courtesy of my mother, of course. Hmm…I’m starting to see a pattern here… Alisha’s other favourite meal is her Milky Pots, which was also inspired by my mom’s recipe… Hmmm….
ANYWAY! I call this one Rice Mash Porridge
What goes in :
A handful of rice
2 baby carrots
4 leaves of baby spinach
1 medium sized baby potato
1 date (I used Mariami)
Put in the rice with about 2.5 cups of water into your pot and put the fire on low.
Meanwhile, slice thinly and chop the baby carrots and put them into the pot.
Peel and chop the baby potato into little cubes and dump them into the pot as well.
Next, really wash the date to ensure that it’s clean and chop it into tiny pieces. Then toss them into the very same pot.
Let the mix of rice, carrots, potato and date simmer (don’t forget to stir occasionally) for about 20 minutes then throw in the baby spinach. Stir for another 3 minutes and you’re done!!
Cool the porridge for a while and then blend away! 😀
