Hello everyone. How are you all doing? Hope all is well in everybody’s tiny space on earth. Oooppp… before I forget, remember to switch off your lights tomorrow from 8.30-9.30pm in support of Earth Hour It’s the least we can do for the planet we call home.
Anyway, I am unhappy to announce that my morning sickness did a detour and came back. I was so happy that it had packed its bags and left last week but obviously it had other plans. So this week, I’ve been nauseated and dizzy as usual, but this time it comes during the day, hence disrupting my concentration at work. Definitely not good.
Ok, morose complaints aside, I have something interesting to share and ask with you readers. As you can see from the ticker up there, I will soon be 16 weeks preggy with Dot! 😀 Isn’t it amazing…? I feel so blessed, Alhamdulillah… hopefully all will go well till the day Dot comes and joins all of us and I can introduce little Dot to you Doodlers!!
Anyway, since yesterday I’ve been feeling these faint flutters in my belly. Initially, I waved them off as gas bubbles (yeah, being pregnant I pass gas louder and more often than my other half, much to his amusement). Today, while chilling on my tv couch during lunch time I rested my hand on my belly and I felt it again! More distinct this time which made me think, could it be gas or baby?? Isn’t it too early to feel the baby kick?
The husband got home and I made him put his hand over my belly which got him super excited that he put his ear in place of his hand. Obviously all he could hear is bunyi perut I la kan..lol! So, I still wonder.. could it be little Dot already practicing some fancy footwork in my tiny belly?
I wasn’t quite sure how to describe the feeling… it’s not exactly like gas bubbles… nor is it much like flutters… but somehow the feeling felt rather familiar to me. As I was back at work doing my regular stuff, it suddenly dawned upon me what the feeling reminded me of!!
Ok, any of you out there have pet fish? You know how when you buy those cute little fishies like guppy, swordtail or goldfish (small fish, not KOI size) they’ll put them in a plastic bag that’s half water and half oxygen right? Well if you put your hand against the plastic bag, and when the fish moves against the plastic where your hand is, THAT’S how it feels like!! Hhahaha.. ok I’m sure some of you are going, oh my gawd she just compared her baby with fish, lol! I can’t help it, my mom has lots of pet fish at home and I often tag along when she makes her purchases at the pet shop. So yeah, to me it feels like tiny fish in a bag against my palm 😀
What do you Doodlers reckon? Is it Dot? Or is it just me building up some mega kentut? LOL!!
oh man.. dot is definitely a seeking attention one.. luvvlyyy darl…!
it’s definitely DOT!!!! 😉 enjoy the feelings dear.. mine dah mcm kickboxers dah.. and the best thing is, he kenal my husband’s voice.. awwww so sweet!! hoho.. u take care..
it is surely possible to be ur baby’s movement coz by 15 weeks, their physical has form, cukup sifat..tangan kaki and all>>Keep on kicking Dot! hihi
You’re skinny, so not much abdominal fat in your stomach and uterus area. At 15 weeks, it’s possible to feel the baby movement. I’m 4 days behind you (14w3d) and I actually felt its nudge 2 nights ago! And I’m very skinny, 90 lbs so like you not much fat in those areas either. I think by now, you’ll be able to distinguish between ‘mega kentut’ (your choice of word, :-)) and baby movement. I’m from the USA, btw, and I join this wonderful pregnancy board (http://boards.webmd.com/webx/topics/hd/Pregnancy/Pregnancy-2nd-Trimester/) and the ladies there will talk and vent almost about anything. My screenname is Ame122 if you ever decide to check it out. Yes I am Melayu, but I’m here with my family for 11 years and am now married to an American. 🙂 I got here through blog-hopping.
