Dearest Doodlers 🙂
I believe it is still not too late for me to wish all of you a happy new year! You might have noticed that my updates have been very few and far apart lately. I do apologize but I have been fully occupied with numerous activities that I could hardly find some quiet time to sit and pen down my thoughts.
2009 has been a colourful year for me, filled with amazing, wonderful and significant moments to remember for life.
Let’s see if I can recap some of those important points of 2009 🙂
I celebrated my first wedding anniversary in April 2009 🙂 a celebration at the Genting arcade, the both of us focused like crazy to win as many tickets as we could! A celebration to remember alright, it was tremendously fun!

Yeap, that’s right! I was pregnant almost throughout the whole of last year, from January till September and apart from the great support from my friends and family, my Doodlers YOU were a huge part of my pregnancy too! Thanks for your support and advice!

September 2nd 2009, my little bundle of joy popped into the world and within hours gave us the cutest smile ever 🙂 I never knew I could have so much love and emotion for such a tiny being. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my little princess.
Launched The Doodle Shop
The babester and I launched The Doodleshop, to share our little treasures with others 😀

I somehow did not manage to tell you Doodlers about this! This was among the many things that have kept me busy *grin* For fun, the Babester and I recently launched Carry Me Beautiful 😀 a blogshop selling handbags and other accessories at affordable prices. Do drop by and visit!
Family Day!

Never had I imagined I would one day be part of a huge family that could hold their very own family day! The husband’s paternal side held their family day in December and I had absolutely SO MUCH fun! Looking forward to the next one!
Lost two dear cousins…

Though this was not a happy point of 2009, it is certainly a life changing one. Raheel (fondly known as Shifa’) and Hasanah were among the 10 victims of the year end Sani Express bus tragedy. They were among the cousins from the husband’s side whom I was extremely fond of. When I was very new to the family, they were the first to make me feel like family. During the first family gathering I attended, they were the ones who came up to me and made me so comfortable that everyone thought I was one of the cousins whom they’ve never met. I miss these two girls greatly… a sad ending to a beautiful year…
I guess that pretty much sums up among the most significant events of 2009 for me. Take note, I mentioned AMONG, heheheh… there could be more but as I sit here typing furiously, those are the ones that come to mind.
Here’s to a brand new year! Good luck and all the best Doodlers!
Lost of love,
Twiggy Liyana

shifa' and hasanah were my senior's sisters… syed mustapha aljunid… guess it must be a truly great loss for him and his family… i couldn't imagine the pain that caused him this end of the year… Al-Fatihah for both of them… may Allah bless their pretty souls and place them among the nobles…
