Aloha Doodlers!
How is everybody doing? Me, I’m just pleased that I’ve now entered week 13 today π yay!! Morning sickness is still making its presence felt, so nothing new to report there (turn pale or green, extreme nausea and headache then puke, repeat cycle).
Last Monday was my dad’s birthday, Happy Birthday Papa!! We got him one of those OSIM feet squeezie-squeezie thingies. So now he’s enjoying his daily feet massages (along with my mom) which really helps with the aches he’s been experienceing in his feet lately. So happy we got the OSIM Usqueeze for him π
In terms of work, it’s currently full fledge hurricane sense of busy around here, as budgets for new occurences are being churned out. Apart from that, existing projects are still on going and well, everyone’s just trying their level best to juggle everything at the same time.
Last Saturday, the husband and I went for Dot’s 12 week checkup at Pantai Medical Center. Same doctor, just at her main clinic instead as she wanted to do a nuchal fold test and the screening equipment at the other clinic isn’t as good as the one at the hospital.
So, we reached the hospital at around 12pm, registered my name, and took a number. I was number 8 on the list so we figured it was going to be quite some time before we get to see the doctor. Instead of hanging around the hospital, we took off and went to Midvalley Megamall, had lunch, strolled around for a bit, bought dad’s birthday present, then figured, ok time to get back to the hospital. It was already 2pm by then.
Back at the hospital, we had to wait for quite awhile, then finally around 3 something, it was our turn to see the doctor. I love seeing my doctor, she always makes me feel more excited about seeing my baby’s scan than I actually am, and the fact that she too sounds just as excited makes the experience all the better π
Anyway, after some usual chit chat, we proceeded to have Dot’s ultrasound scan. This time, Dot’s scan was not just your usual black and white fuzzy picture on screen. It was even better! We saw Dot in 4D!!! It was AMAZING! We could see Dot’s arms and legs and even make out facial features!!
Initially, the video showed Dot in the usual black and white ultrasound view, you could see Dot sucking its thumb, then when the doctor moved the scanning wand on my belly, I think Dot got annoyed so Dot turned and gave us a wonderful view of his/her butt instead. Hahahahah… then the doctor switched to the 4D view and there you have it, Dot moving, stretching, kicking and turning happily π
I was in absolute awe. The husband couldn’t stop grinning (all throughout the day after that). There was our little Dot, actually starting to look like a little baby. I was at loss for words looking at my little acrobat. Thank God I didn’t turn into a blubbering sputtering emotional mess, hahahhaha! The husband asked whether Dot is a little hero or a little princess, but the doctor couldn’t make it out as Dot’s umbillical cord was in the way all throughout the scan. I guess Dot want’s us to keep guessing for another month, hehehe.. cheeky little one.
Here’s the video of Dot’s 12 week scan π the husband took it on his handphone and I thought it would be great to share it with my Doodlers as you’ve all been so supportive and helpful and kind throughout my trying times of early pregnancy π I love you guys!!! *hugs*
So, Doodlers π Here’s Dot!
