Alisha’s school’s CNY party

Today, Chempedak’s school had a little Chinese New Year celebration. All the kids were told to come to school dressed up in something red. So this morning, Alisha wore her pretty red Monsoon dress that her Tia bought for her some time last year.

Their mini celebration was in the morning, and sometime in the afternoon, her school emailed the parents pictures of their celebration. They looked like they had so much fun!!

Then it was time to enjoy all the festive food 🙂

I simply must applaud Alisha’s teachers for making such great effort in ensuring that the children learned about the various cultures of the many races in our country. We are, after all, 1 Malaysia 🙂
