Yesterday marked my one year anniversary with husband dearest 🙂 how time flies! I can still vividly remember our wedding day (or rather days, hahaha) and flipping through the beautiful pictures has brought back so much fond memories.
Instead of celebrating it yesterday, we brought it forward a little earlier as we had Dot’s check-up appointment due on the very same day. So we took Thursday and Friday off, and headed to Genting Highlands. The last time I went to Genting was when I was nine!! Gila lama ok tak pegi Genting.
We didn’t go out to the outdoor themepark as it would have quite a waste, with me being pregnant and not able to go on 90% of the rides. So we strolled along the indoor funland instead, and after much exploring and roving about, we found ourselves at the Vision City arcade area and the rest was history. We were your ultimate tag team playing silly kiddy arcade / funfair type games all for one purpose : to collect as many tickets as possible!!!! Hhahahahahha!!! We played this froggy game, where we had to slide a ball to hit the frog where it stopped, and this penguin game, where we had to dump balls into igloos, this ridiculous chicken egg game which only gave us a 9-ticket win, and best of all a halloween-hit-the-hantu game, where we had to hit ghost targets with balls and make ’em fall over.
Baling bola sampai tangan lenguh ok!
Yeah, the games were no big challenge but we had loads of fun and went ballistic over the stack of tickets we won, which we then redeemed for two mini flashlights and two sticky notepad/pen sets. Heheheheee… yes, we didn’t have your typical romantic candle-lit dinner celebration but we had an absolute blast! 😀
Unfortunately in the midst of keseronokan and keletihan bersuka-ria di Genting, we didn’t take any photos, so sadly no Kodak moments to share with you Doodlers.
Husband dearest, happy one year anniversary, it’s been the best year ever and I’m looking forward to the rest of my life with you 🙂
