This year, Pomelo has started going for Friday pra

This year, Pomelo has started going for Friday prayers. It's a bit of a rush for him (out of school earlier than others, has lunch in the car, stops 5 mins for toilet break and wuduk, pick up his cousin, then drop off and walk to mosque) and he has no idea what is being said during the khutbah but so far he has gone without complaints. He comes home happy and smiling.
Alhamdulillah, my heart is just bursting with love, pride and joy. He surely tests my patience more often than not, but this little fruit is growing up into a fine young man, masya Allah.

Today I miraculously made lunch for 8 people. A very simple lunch but those who know me would understand that this is a big deal to me because I'm hopeless in the kitchen. I still somehow managed to mess it up but at least it was edible 😅
