Our mini family’s mini holiday!!

Last weekend, the husband brought Alisha and I for an overnight stay at a hotel in the heart of KL. Though it was only an overnight stay, we spent great quality time together, just the three of us. It was something that we had never got since Alisha’s arrival and I enjoyed every single minute of it.

We ordered room service that night, and the husband and I enjoyed dinner with the little one parked in her stroller facing the tele. That was when we discovered her interest in movies, lol! Believe it or not, she was watching Scorpion King and seemed to enjoy it a lot! She was laughing, cooing, and pretty much trying to communicate with the people on screen. At one point, the bad guys were about to attack and Alisha made sounds of alarm “eeeyy!! eyyy!!!” at the tv as if to warn the good guys that the bad guys are coming!! watch out!! hahahahahah!! The both of us stared in disbelief at her reactions. It was like she understood what was going on. Perhaps a mere coincidence, but we marvelled at it all the same (biasa la mak pak jakon, heheheheh).

Alisha slept soundly in the beginning, but then some wee hours of the morning, she suddenly realized that she was not in her own bed, so she chose to sleep on her mommy’s chest instead. After about an hour of that, I slowly rolled her onto the bed, and there she stayed snug in between the husband and I 🙂

The next day at breakfast, we went down to enjoy the buffet spread. The little one was of course all curious in her stroller. She kept turning left and right to see where all the voices were coming from and when she failed to see, she gave this one big “HEH!!” sampai orang kiri kanan sume pusing tengok! Kelam-kabut mommy dia angkat suruh diam, heheheheheh.. The moment I picked her up and propped her so she can see, she happily enjoyed the scenery in silence. Makcik kepoh jugak kenit sorang nih.

After breakfast, we went back to the room to enjoy a little bit more holiday time before we checked out. Simply marvellous. Thanks for taking us daddy!! You’re the best!!
